I figured that for me there are two essential ingridians for making a successful match when arriving to a new hotel: the high quality of linen to allow a restful good night sleep and the sense of security, mostly derived from hospitality as well as the common other measures. It turns out in many cases that when you have these two, you get also so much more. So was the case at La Bandita Townhouse. This is a small hotel in the heart of the tiny old town of Pienza. From the moment of arrival we were warmly welcomed by the incredible stuff who took care of everything needed from the luggage to the everyday plans for visiting the area. This may not be a 5 stars hotel but it in terms of service it far exceeds this level. This place not only designed in modern minimal elegancy, while preserving the main features of the original Tuscan building, but also consists of the precise energy to make you feel at home. We got the junior suit for our family which was large and comfortable. The Hotel's restaurant was excellent for dinner so dont miss a visit. On the downside I would mention that there are no activities available inside the hotel. No pool, gym and in our case the WIFI connection was malfunctioning. Nevertheless, this was an unforgettable stay.
