Unforgettable morning spent with an incredible woman, who happened to introduce us to her town, family, the Tuscan life, and obviously to her passion: conveying simple Tuscan cooking while using fresh local ingridians. We were a family of 5 who met Giuseppina at Certaldo. We started by purchasing some groceries based on the menu planned together over breakfast and continued by going up to the old city by the funicular. We had a short walk while listening to some background stories of the town's history and concluded by preparing our lunch. The kids learned to prepare a whole meal but the preparation of fresh pasta was definitely the highlight!!! The location, the company and obviously the food were all immensely enjoyable and presented an opportunity to get a closer look at Italian unique lifestyle.
