We really wanted to try the hospitality of a ryokan, so Takayama, being a small village felt like the right place to try it. Well, there is so much to write about this experience. Takayama was beautiful and ended up to be one of the highlights of our trip. Its a lovely city with wonderful options to go out of the village to tour around. Some places are in an hour's distance and some more... As to the hotel - you can enjoy the experience of traditional hospitality, food, serving, and design. Great experience. As to the beds in the ryokan option, well you better consider well before you choose that.<p><p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;">Highly recommended!<span style="color:red"><o:p></o:p></span></p></p>
