The handmade triangles in the legs of the altar represent the balance created by Shiva and Shakti, the male and female aspects of God. The lotus carved into the front of the tables represent our wishes for you to remain fully grounded in Mother Earth, yet always aspire toward the Divine.The hand carved, hand painted design on the top of this table is the Lotus. Traditionally, the lotus and sinks below the water and closes each night, and reopens with the morning light.
