Wow, this sponge blender is amazing! This is the first thing I am going to conclude.
This is my first sponge blender - before this, I was using the standard foundation brush which I have adored for years now. I was a little reluctant to try the sponge blender, as I get a little "stuck in my ways" when it comes to cosmetics. I decided to give it a try and I am SO happy I did!
The sponge fits very comfortably in your hand. The base is firm yet the texture is like a sponge. I previously thought that it would be as light and delicate as a typical sponge - not. It is firm and yet soft.
